Favorite thing to eat for breakfast:

Honey nut cheerios (but only on Saturdays as part of cheat day!)

I don’t leave home without:

My beats wireless headphones. I won them as a sales prize at work and never thought I’d love them as much as I do!

If Joseph Pilates were alive today what would you ask him or have him teach you?

The saw/circumduction on the Cadillac—it was my worst enemy throughout my teacher training!

Enthusiasm, Knowledge, Flow, and GREAT music

Top 3 places you would like to travel?

Trendy yet comfortable—I keep up and am in the know of the latest fashion styles but my designer of choice is usually Lululemon

Teddy (my Shih Tzu), my iPhone, and my purse

Top 3 things on your bucket list?

Run a half marathon, skydiving, walk the Great Wall of China

When was your Pilates a-ha moment?

The day of my final exam when I had to teach a group class to a bunch of strangers. I went from anxious tears to smiling as soon as I walked through the door of the classroom.

How has Pilates changed your body? Your outlook?

There’s no doubt in my mind that Pilates has made me stronger but in mind and body. It gave me and will continue to give me an outlet—when things get chaotic I can either get out my mat or hit up a reformer class and it helps put things in perspective.

I am an expert in…?

Relating to anyone and anything—I can maintain a conversation with someone significantly older or younger than me.

On any Saturday night you will most likely find me at…???

On a date with my boyfriend—our usual go-to is dinner and home for fro-yo on the couch.

How would you describe your teaching style?

The best word to describe my teaching would be modern fusion- I combine the traditional Pilates fundamentals I was taught in my training with my upbeat and fast-paced demeanor to deliver an exciting, kick your butt fitness-filled hour

What has been your biggest teaching blunder?

Not mirroring my clients- I’ll face them from the back of the room and tell them to look right but then I look left and they tend to mirror the instructor so we end up looking like we don’t know our left and our right
